Bank of America display has ended...

My public display at the Tahoe City branch of the Bank of America has ended. I am taking a month off from the "Art in Public Places" program to revamp my pieces. I will have another display starting up December 1st in Truckee. Stay tuned...

Dam Cafe Update!

My public display at the Dam Cafe, 55 West Lake Blvd in Tahoe City has changed somewhat. I have several new photographs hanging, including a couple from my recent shoot in the Tetons and Yellowstone.

These photos are selling so fast that I can hardly keep up with replacing them so excuse the bare spots if there are any when you stop by.

Thanks in advance and take care,

Bill

Yellowstone and Grand Teton...Updated

I am back from 8 days in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks on a shoot with my good friend and fellow photographer, John Musaus. The weather was pretty nice and we were blessed with some great light. Here are some shots from the trip...

Pink Dawn at Oxbow Bend...Grand Teton NP...

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone from Artist's Point...

Morning Glory Pool - Yellowstone NP...

Bull Elk snoozing along the Madison River - Yellowstone NP...

**********

One of the highlights of the trip was being able to see and photograph members of the Slough Creek wolf pack while they were active in the Lamar Valley at the northeast corner of Yellowstone. As a follower of the progress of the wolves since their re-introduction to the greater Yellowstone ecosystem in 1995 & 1996, I was thrilled to finally see them in the wild. What a beautiful sight. Unfortunately, even with 1200mm of glass on the front of my camera, the photographs are unusable for print sales but they will provide me with memories for a lifetime.

Stay tuned, I will be adding some shots from this trip to the gallery later this fall.

Please visit John's photography site here.

Take care all...

Bill
