Fog and Frost...

Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley has been in a perpetual state of ice fog for the last week or so. It was a great time for our furnace to give out! (now fixed and the house is warm again - yeah!)

Although rather cold and dreary, this type of weather can make for some interesting photography as well. I ventured out and found a frosty world of interesting subjects in the subdued light. Here are some images from around the area...

The dry grass was weighted down by the hoar frost...

Thistle in the morning frost...

Old barn and Alders...

Top of the Hill...

Remember, some of the best light happens at "the edge" of weather so don't hesitate to head out to explore even when the conditions are not that great. You never know what you might find...
