Notes From The Field: Wintertime in the Sierra...

We have seen a bit of snow here in the Truckee area in the last few days. Not much mind you but enough to dust the trees and add to our winter's snowpack.

Nana and I took advantage of it and went snowshoeing north of town. We were looking for some Bald Eagles that have been seen near Prosser Reservoir recently. Unfortunately, we never saw them. I was able to capture a few frames though...
