Beautiful Day at the Lake...

After record rains, flooding, heavy snowfall and then fog, the Lake Tahoe area actually saw the sun for a day or so. The day started with a beautiful sunrise. Here is what it looked like from Dollar Hill on the North Shore.

The day stayed calm and clear and the water was like glass. This is unusual in a lake as big as Tahoe which at 6225 feet in elevation, is 22 miles long, 12 miles wide (at it's widest point) and averages over 900 feet in depth.

Not much else new on the photographic front. I'm looking at scheduling a winter shoot in Yosemite National Park as well as a possible winter visit back to the Tetons and Yellowstone. We'll see if I'm able to pull those off.

Take care all!
