John Muir Wilderness...

I had the opportunity to backpack into the John Muir Wilderness in the High Sierra, outside Bishop, California. My goal was to photograph Ruby Lake at both sunrise and sunset, as well as the picturesque mountains and valleys in the area. Although I got hammered with major thunderstorms, the post-storm light was amazing. Here are some fruits of my efforts...

Although a quick trip, it was well worth the effort to view the magical light of the High Sierra...
