Moab, Utah...

On our way back from Colorado, Nana and I stopped in Moab, Utah and spent the afternoon, evening and the next morning's dawn in Arches National Park.

We hiked in the Devil's Garden area in the early afternoon, almost stepping on a rattlesnake in the parking lot. Sorry - no photos. That evening, we hiked up to Delicate Arch for sunset. It is always a magical place to watch the light change as the sun goes down. We were not disappointed. The distant La Sal Mountains were covered with fresh snow which added a special touch to the scene...

The next morning, I drove back into the park before dawn and shot Balanced Rock silhouetted against the pre-dawn sky.

Unfortunately, shortly afterwards, we hit the road for the long drive back to California. All in all, a great trip.

Take care and here's to good light!
